In the heart of Sarasota, Florida, lies a treasure art, culture, and romance: the Ringling Art Museum. Known for its grandeur and historical significance, it’s not just a museum but a breathtaking backdrop for moments of love and commitment. Recently, Jenna and Ty chose this iconic location for their wedding day. We had the honor of capturing their rehearsal and the results are nothing short of magical.
The Ringling is known for its unique architecture and iconic pink walls that make you feel like royalty. Every corner of the place will leave you in awe.
I am so grateful to have been able to document Jenna & Ty’s welcome dinner the evening before their special day. We met in the Ringling’s courtyard to snap a few photos before heading over to Sage Restaurant in the heart of Downtown Sarasota. It was such a beautiful evening surrounded by the couple’s biggest supporters. There were lots of laughs, happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of love.
Welcome Dinner at Sage Restaurant
After we strolled around downtown Sarasota, we joined all of Jenna and Ty’s closest family and friends at Sage. Every detail was beautifully placed. One of my favorite details were the wedding magazines with all the details about their wedding day and the customized match box that Jenna created. They were such special and unique touches for their guests.

Why We love Documenting Rehearsal Dinners
A few reasons why we love documenting wedding rehearsal dinners:
- My approach to documenting your rehearsal dinner is very detail and people oriented. I’m snapping photos of all the beautiful details you’ve arranged while also following you around (at a distance) to snap candid interactions between guests. So you’re getting a TON of images with your favorite people & will have keepsakes of all the beautiful details.
- If you’re a destination bride and don’t get to meet your photographer for engagement photos, this is a beautiful alternative! You will get a feel for your photographer’s shooting style and so will your family!
- The fact that your family and bridal party get to meet your photographer before the wedding is HUGE! I have noticed a huge difference between families who meet the photographer ahead of time and those who don’t. Your day will be amazing either way, but family tends to pay more attention to the photographer / feel more comfortable in front of the camera when they have the chance to meet ahead of time.
Whether you’re looking for wedding day or rehearsal dinner coverage anywhere around the world (especially The Ringling), I would love to document your moments in a timeless and modern way!
