A family endeavor. Surrounded by their family and a few close friends, Mya and Anthony share vows on top of the pool deck. Their parent’s private estate right outside of Seaside Florida was the perfect setting for their wedding day festivities. The family spent months turning their property into the perfect venue to host the couple’s wedding day. All of their hard work definitely paid off. They created a one-of-a-kind venue that was truly unique to any other in the 30A Florida area.
Finishing Touches in the Bridal Suite
Stepping into Mya’s parent’s room, which acted as the bridal suite, the girls received finishing touches to their makeup by Kendra K Beauty’s team, passed champagne, and made TikTok videos. Even Henri, Mya and Anthony’s golden doodle, joined in on all the celebration. His little tux was the cutest addition!
When the makeup was done and all the champagne passed, the girls stepped into their beautiful black bridesmaids dresses. Mya looked absolutely stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown that she found at Margaret Ellen Bridal in Rosemary Beach Florida.
First Looks in the Courtyard
Mya chose to do formal first looks with her bridesmaids, father, and soon-to-be husband. Every first glance was filled with so much emotion. It was a beautiful moment to document. After Mya and Anthony took a few minutes to regather themselves, they exchanged vows in private.

The Wedding Party
Before the wedding, Mya shared a few inspiration images with me. Her largest inspiration was of a white photo backdrop that another couple rented for their wedding day. It was so iconic! Mya loved it so much that Anthony spent hours building her a backdrop. During the day, we used it for portraits. Then during the reception, it was turned into a manual photo booth that guests could come and take photos of themselves with. What a fun detail!
The wedding day was full of so many intentional details that made us feel so inspired. I have to say one of my favorites was the Cala Lily bouquets created by The Flower Basket Florist. The simple yet elegant flowers adorned with a black bow created the perfect mix of classic and trendy.
Poolside Wedding Ceremony
Surrounded by their family and a few close friends, the couple exchanged rings by the pool.
Reception Under the Tent
After the poolside ceremony, guests were welcomed underneath the candle-lit tent. Mya and Anthony shared their first dance, danced with their parents, listened to speeches, and cut their cake. Shortly after dinner, Mya changed into her mother’s wedding gown that was reimagined into the perfect reception dress. Another fun detail that made their day truly their own.
Instead of a typical DJ, the couple hired Below Alabama to play live music throughout the evening. There was not a moment that the dance floor was empty! Below Alabama kept the party going all evening!
