A Rosemary Beach Engagement Session

We are so excited to share these images from Cortni and Daulton’s engagement photoshoot in Rosemary Beach. We woke up super early for this sunrise photoshoot that almost didn’t happen.

Fortunately, Zach and I had a wedding the day before their session in the 30A area and decided to book an Airbnb for the evening. That morning when we woke up, it was pouring!! We decided to drive out to the Pearl anyways because our sweet couple was already on the way.

Right when we got to the Pearl in Rosemary Beach, the rain stopped!! It was such a God moment. The rain stopped, the clouds parted, and we had the most beautiful morning light for this sweet engagement session.

Cortni’s vision for her engagement photoshoot was modern, romantic, and editorial. And oh man did that vision come to life! She chose the most stunning black dresses and I especially couldn’t get over how well her first dress looked against the black and white architecture of the Pearl. It’s so fun when our brides ditch tradition and choose outfits that truly speak to them!

I think my favorite location we stopped at in Rosemary was the side of the Pearl hotel. Cortni jumped up on the hotel’s railing while Daulton stood lovingly beside her. We achieved a good mix of editorial and candid engagement photos. I could take photos at this little spot in 30A every day if someone let me!!
